Activating Two-Factor Authentication
Enable Two-Factor Authentication for Maximum Security.
Prerequisite
A registered NIPA Cloud Space account (see registration).
Be logged into the NIPA Cloud Space system (see login).
An authenticator application installed on your mobile device (Google Authenticator is recommended).
Instructions
1. Navigate to Project Management
Log in to NIPA Cloud Space. You can begin this process from either the "Projects Management" page or from within any project.

2. Access the Two-Factor Authentication Menu
Click on your username in the top-right corner to display the account management menu, then select "Two-Factor Authentication".

3. Begin Two-Factor Authentication Activation
The Two-Factor Authentication menu will appear. Click the "ACTIVATE" button to start the setup process.

4. Register Your Authenticator Application
The system will display a QR code and a text-based code. Open your authenticator application and register a new account by either scanning the QR code or manually entering the text code. Once your device is registered, click "NEXT" in the activation menu.

5. Verify the Authenticator
Enter the 6-digit code generated by your authenticator app to confirm it is working correctly, then click "VERIFY".

6. Save Your Rescue Codes
Upon successful verification, the system will display a set of Rescue Codes. Copy these codes or download the file and store them in a safe place. Rescue Codes can be used to deactivate two-factor authentication if you lose access to your registered authenticator device.

7. Log In Using Two-Factor Authentication
After activation, the login process will require an additional step to verify the TOTP from your registered authenticator.
After initial activation, the Two-Factor Authentication menu or the login process may not immediately reflect the change. Please allow approximately 10 minutes for the setting to take full effect.
