Managing Deployment Script

A deployment script is a source for launching an instance that allows you to set up or install software inside the instance immediately after it finishes booting by creating a script that specifies the management steps.

Instructions

1. Log in to the project

Select a project from the projects management page to enter its detail page.

2. Go to the Deployment Scripts page

In the sidebar menu, click COMPUTE > Deployment Scripts. On this page, you will see a list of deployment scripts, divided into scripts provided by NCS and scripts you have created yourself. You can select "Hide all script created by NCS" to display only your scripts.

3. Manage deployment scripts

You can manage deployment scripts in the following ways:

1. Create : Create a new deployment script from scratch.

2. Clone : Create a new deployment script from an existing script.

3. Edit : Modify a script.

4. Delete : Remove an unwanted script from the project.
