Create a Snapshot

Create a snapshot to use as a backup or as a template for creating new Volumes.

Prerequisite

• The project's wallet balance must be greater than 0 (see how to top up a project's wallet).

• You must have an existing Volume (see how to create a Volume).

Instruction

1. Create a Snapshot

On the Snapshots page, click the "+ Take Snapshot" button to open the "Take Snapshot" window.

2. Enter the Snapshot details

• Snapshot Name: The name of the snapshot.

  • Can only contain English letters (A-Z, a-z), numbers (0-9), hyphens (-), or underscores (_).

  • Must be between 4 and 20 characters long.

• Volume: A list of Volumes that can be used to create a snapshot.

3. Confirm the Snapshot creation

The newly created snapshot will initially show a status of "Creating." It will be ready for use once its status changes to Healthy.
