Managing Volume(s)

A Volume is a resource that expands an instance's storage capacity, providing additional data storage beyond what is included in the selected machine type.

Instruction

1. Log in to the project

Select a project from the projects management page to enter its detail page.

2. Go to the Volumes page

Click on BLOCK STORAGE > Volumes in the sidebar menu.

3. Volume Management

You can manage volumes in the following ways:

1. Accept a Volume Transfer

2. Create a volume

   1. Creating from blank

   2. Creating from an image

   3. Creating from a volume

   4. Creating from a volume snapshot

3. Extend the size of a volume

4. Attach a volume to an instance

5. Transfer a volume to other projects

6. Delete a volume

7. Rename a volume
