# Managing Volume(s)

A **Volume** is a resource that expands an instance's storage capacity, providing additional data storage beyond what is included in the selected machine type.

## Instruction

### 1. **Log in to the project**

Select a project from the projects management page to enter its detail page.

### 2. **Go to the Volumes page**

Click on **BLOCK STORAGE > Volumes** in the sidebar menu.
