# Create a Security Group

## Instruction

### 1. **Create a Security Group**

Click the **+ "Security Group"** button and select **Customize**.

### 2. **Fill in the details for the new Security Group**

**Name:** A name for the Security Group.

* Can only contain English letters (A-Z, a-z), numbers (0-9), hyphens (-), or underscores (\_).
* Must be between 4 and 20 characters long.

After creation, the new Security Group will appear.

### 3. Add Rules

You can add rules for both ingress (inbound) and egress (outbound) traffic.

### 4. **Click "Add Rule"**

After clicking "Add Rule," a window will appear with two tabs: **Express Rules** and **Custom Rule**.

* **Express Rules** provides pre-configured templates that you can add immediately.
* **Custom Rule** allows you to configure a rule with your own specific settings.

**After adding a rule**, it will appear in the list. (The image shows an "All TCP Rule" added as an example).
