Managing Key Pair(s)

Accessing an instance requires a key or password to ensure the security of the data within it. Users can generate their own keys, known as a Key Pair. Once created, the user can use the public key for authentication.

Instructions

1. Log in to the project

Select a project from the projects management page to enter its detail page.

2. Go to Key Pairs

In the left-hand menu, click COMPUTE > Key Pairs to go to the Key Pairs page.

3. Key Pair Management

You can manage Key Pairs in the following ways:

• 3.1 Create a New Key Pair or Import an Existing Key Pair

• 3.2 Delete a Key Pair

• 3.3 View a Public Key

• 3.4 Set a Key Pair as the Default
