Remote Desktop to Windows Instance

Connecting to a Windows Instance via Remote Desktop (RDP)

Prerequisite

You must have a Windows instance with an attached External IP and RDP enabled in its security group (see how to launch an instance).

In the left-hand menu, click COMPUTE > Instances to access the instance list.

Click on the desired instance from the list.

In the "Connect Instance Information" section, click the 'VIEW MORE' button to see the details required to connect to the instance.

Launch the "Remote Desktop Connection" application on your computer.
Enter the instance's External IP address and click "Connect".
When prompted for credentials, enter:
- User: Administrator
- Password: The password you set when creating the instance.

After entering the user and password, the remote desktop session will be established.
