How to Change Volume Type

ในกรณีที่ต้องการเปลี่ยน Volume Type เพื่อเพิ่มความรวดเร็วในการใช้งาน หรือต้องการลดค่าใช้จ่ายโดยการเปลี่ยนเป็น Volume Type ที่มีความรวดเร็วในการใช้งานลดลง เพื่อให้เหมาะสมกับการใช้งานปัจจุบัน สามารถทำได้ตามขั้นตอนด้านล่าง โดยจะแบ่งเป็น การ Change Volume Type ที่เป็น OS Volume กับ DATA Volume ซึ่งจะมีข้อจำกัดคือ Volume จะต้องไม่มี snapshot และการ Change Volume Type จะใช้เวลาในการดำเนินการขึ้นอยู่กับขนาดของ Volume ที่ต้องการเปลี่ยน Type โดยจะมี Volume Type อยู่ 3 ชนิด คือ Premium_SSD, Standard_SSD, Standard_HDD ซึ่งจะต่างกันที่ความรวดเร็วในการอ่านหรือเขียนข้อมูล

OS Volume

ในกรณีที่ต้องการ Change Volume Type ที่เป็น OS Volume ให้ดำเนินการตามขั้นตอนด้านล่าง

1.Taking Snapshot

3.แจ้งรายละเอียด ให้กับทีมงานเพื่อให้ทีมงานดำเนินการ Change Volume Type ผ่านทาง Ticket หรือ Line โดยมีรายละเอียด ดังนี้

• Id volume

• Type ที่ต้องการเปลี่ยน

4.Launching From a Bootable Volume (หลังจาก Change Volume Type แล้ว)

หลังจาก Change Volume Type แล้ว ให้ดำเนินการสร้าง instance จาก volume

DATA Volume
